Only rating 4 starts due to the highly consistent request for feedback before the product has arrived. 10-14 days for shipping and I start getting review requests within 2-3 days. That is my only negative comment. This is my second order from this company and have had no problems getting the quote, placing the order, or any problems with the product. And who could turn down the parts and labor warranty on a used engine? Great service, just need to delay or limit the requsts for feedback.

Engine & transmission world has a great web site that is easy to navigate. I received an email immediately after purchase. The only problem I encountered was no way to talk to a representative. The shipping company delayed delivery because it was over looked in the warehouse.

ordering was easy and the personnel was great to work with on ordering. But after that to find out about my order was difficult I called the number and the automated service would transfer me put me on hold for 2 min then the phone would ring and never any answer. Then I called back and asked for different department and tell them and they would transfer me to the same area. Took 4 phone call to find out about my order. When looking up motors it says 3 to 5 days shipping but truly it is 7 to 14 should put that on the front page not back page. But when talking with someone very nice people to work with.

Great Engine

I would rate much higher but with out a ship date or tracking # it's hard to give 5 stars. Ordering was easy, online quote was great, paying was easy. Waiting 7 to 10 day for shipping info is a long wait.

To all concerned; I seldom write reviews, some seem made up but I can assure you mine is on the up and up. On Sept 12th I started my search for a BMW Z-4 2004 transmission with SMG. these are very hard to locate and they do not make rebuilds for that car. My transmission went out after 40K miles. Got lots of run around and high pressure from various sites nothing positive, until I contacted Transmission world. Lisa was very knowledgeable and knew what I needed, they had a low mileage transmission with everything that I needed including a 1 year 12K mile warranty. I told her I was going to contact the BMW garage that was working on my car to see if they agreed to the purchase. No pressure she said just call back if this is what we want. Not only did we accept the first offer they also cut a few bucks out for returning in a prompt fashion. We are now awaiting delivery which should be next week we are hoping all works but Lisa did say if we have a problem they will send another in its place. We think this will work. So far so good.
