As with all used things you take a gamble when you purchase ,that goes with anything and everything you purchase.I am a septic and was scared to buy online for a long time ,it is so hard to know when you are being scammed .I am a stay at home mom therefore my husband makes the only income we have ,so money at times is very sparring .my son need an engine for his truck so we took a chance ,and all I can say is so far so good .it was delivered in a timely manner and when we got it in and hooked up and everything that that goes with that back in place it run like a new one .as of right now I would definantly order again and I will be telling friends and family about you guys thanks so much.

I searched for an engine for my 2003 GMC Envoy XL and Engine and Transmission World came up on my screen. The engine I bought had lower miles and cost less then the one my mechanic could find. The deliver seemed to take forever but I was kept informed on its process. Everything is installed and working as good as new.

When I discovered Engine and Transmission world on the net., I found the engine I needed, and got a quote in just a few minutes. The people in customer service were great, and I received my engine in less than 10 days, delivered right to my garage door. The engine was clean and painted with factory colors and it performs, like new, and with a 3 year warranty I was glad to know if the engine failed, another engine would be sent to me. I purchased a motor from them as soon as we started it up we had a problem, but after a phone call they fix it with another motor at no added cost.

I just wanted to thank you for the engine I received for my 2002 Subaru Forester. The timing belt had broke in my original engine - at 157,000 miles, but all the external parts that needed to be moved onto the replacement engine were in functional condition. The engine came and the oil pan was slightly damaged - but the oil pan on my existing Forester was fine so the mechanic just swapped it. Shipping was fast and arrived before the expected date - it was great to get my Forester back on the road just before the snow fall here in Iowa...I was missing the heated seats and all wheel-drive!

Engine arrived on time, no problems, very friendly service. Engine runs like a top!

Engine took a while to get here but seems well worth the wait

I purchased this engine based on the three year parts and labor warranty. The extremely low mileage, considering my car is fourteen years old. The picture of the engine provided was clean and packaged on a pallet. The free delivery to the mechanics shop went without any problems. The engine delivered was exactly like the picture. Most importantly, the engine runs like new. I'm well pleased

I received my engine quickly and in great shape. They were very professional when I called. Would use them again.

I was skeptical at first with all the scams out there, and spending that kind of money without knowing what I was going to receive, but I received the motor in about a month from the time I ordered it and it runs great, the only thing I'm a little confused on is they say the motor has 68,000 miles on it, but how do I know that, I had to send a picture of my odometer with the actual mileage this motor was going to replace, so I guess you just have to take there word on it. I was told there was a warranty also but when I called to see If they would email me a printable warranty, no one from the warranty dept.(Scott) would return my calls. so really don't know exactly what the warranty covers, It says 3yrs or 36,000 miles, but on what? So was a little disappointed that the warranty Dept. didn't return my calls, but was satisfied with the motor.

The engine works great and runs great. Shipped clean with plugs in it to protect from damage. Only thing I can say is it seemed to take a while to ship to my location. I guess when the item is big and heavy you just have be patient. I'm very happy!

i purchased an engine for my 2000 Saab 9-5 with a v6 from ETW and then saw all the bad reports all over the internet. i was very concerned because i made another mistake besides my lack of research on the company, i gave the wrong "ship to" address. i immediately sent an email with the new address and it was updated and confirmed that day. first problem, not a problem... then i began the waiting period for the engine to be delivered. i was somewhat concerned because i had read about people's horror stories about getting their order. however, i did get the email updates showing the expected delivery date. what made me concerned again, was that i never received tracking information for the shipment. however, the engine was delivered exactly the date that it was expected. the engine clearly had been tested, cleaned and painted(although the paint job was poor). the long block arrived complete, wrapped and on a pallet. it still had many parts that were not really part of the long block, but that were valuable and helped with the installation. all in all, i'm pleased. the engine was shipped as promised and had good compression and no issues. it is running quite well. it's important to install new timing belts, seals and thermostat for the warranty, but these are things that should be done anyway. it's a good thing to have such a long warranty.

I could not be more pleased with the condition and the performance of the used engine I purchased. Everything from shipping to all communications was top flight. Keep up the good work.

The price was amazing compared to other places and I would highly recommend using this company! My order 243393 also came in a reasonable time frame and the shipping was free!!!

Dealing with E & T World was a very pleasant process. The ad for the motor I bought said they would take all reasonable offers and while I didn't save a lot of money, I appreciated the fact I did get the motor for slightly less. Post sale, pre-shipping, and post-shipping communication via emails was very professional and timely. The motor arrived within the delivery window that was stated to me. The motor was listed to come with "everything" less, starter, alternator, A/C, and turbo (if equipped). My mechanic said my motor didn't come with valve cover gaskets or exhaust manifolds which appeared to be misleading as I had to pay parts and labor for the manifolds and gaskets. Maybe manifolds don't ship on used motor, however, I never read that anywhere. My mechanic never charged me parts or labor for the valve covers (except gaskets) so I don't know exactly what happened with these, yet, I decided to not pursue the missing parts with E & T World. The motor appears to be working great. Hopefully, it will last a long time.
